Manuals and Documents

Keep operator manuals, parts manuals, service manuals and safety data sheets against each machine, and find them again from the Library

On this page

Every machine has its own shelf for paperwork — manuals, safety data sheets and warranty documents are stored against the machine they belong to, so the right one is always a click away.

Premium

Uploading documents to a machine is part of Premium, as are manual service plans and the Machinery library page.

Where are a machine's documents?

Open the machine from the fleet list and click the Plans & Manuals tab. You'll see two things:

  • Service plans — service schedules built from the manufacturer's manual (see below)
  • Documents — every file uploaded for this machine

If nothing's there yet, you'll see "No documents uploaded yet".

How do I upload a manual?

1

Click Upload Document

It's on the machine's Plans & Manuals tab.

2

Give it a title

Use something you'll recognise later, like "Toro Greensmaster 3150 Parts Manual".

3

Choose the document type

Pick Parts Manual, Service Manual, Operator Manual, Safety Data Sheet or Warranty Document. Add any notes you want.

4

Select the PDF and upload

Choose the file and click Upload. Documents must be PDFs, up to 50MB each.

Upload the operator or service manual first

The operator or service manual is the one TurfWise can read to build a service plan, so it's the most useful one to get on file.

How do I read or remove a document?

Each document in the list has three options:

  • View — opens the PDF right inside TurfWise, so you don't lose your place
  • Download — saves a copy to your computer
  • Delete (the bin icon) — removes it for good (you'll be asked to confirm, because it can't be undone)

Can TurfWise turn a manual into a service schedule?

Yes — that's what the Service plans panel on the same tab is for. It reads the manual section by section, drafts each service interval with the page it came from, and lets a manager check and approve them. Approved intervals become scheduled services with reminders.

The whole process is covered step by step in Servicing and maintenance.

Can I find machinery manuals from the Library?

Yes. Records > Library is the club's document area, and it includes the manuals and other documents stored against your machines. Machinery safety data sheets aren't listed there — open those from the machine's Plans & Manuals tab. The same file can be reached two ways:

  • from Machinery, where it opens on the machine's page
  • from Library, where it opens in the Library's reader

It's the same document either way — there's only ever one copy.

The Machinery library page

On the Library page (Records > Library), Jump to a module opens a set of shortcuts, and under Machinery you'll find Machinery library. That page is the Verified Knowledge Library, where you can search verified service-manual bundles by manufacturer, model or keyword. If none have been verified yet, the page says so.
