Jobs backlog
Keep future jobs in one list with priorities, target dates and details, ready to bring into your weekly plan
The Jobs backlog is where you keep work that isn't scheduled yet — a path repair, a bunker rebuild — ready for the right time to plan it.
Click Work in the top bar, then Plan The Week Ahead › Jobs backlog. It's included on Core.
What do the figures at the top mean?
Four counts sit across the top:
- Backlog — waiting to be planned
- Planned — marked for upcoming work
- In progress — work under way
- Done — completed jobs
Below them, Your jobs lists every job with its priority, status and target date.
How do I add a job?
Click Add Job
Click Add Job next to the filters. On an empty list, it's Add your first job.
Describe the job
Give it a Title, such as "Rebuild bunker 7", and any details under Description.
Set priority and status
Choose a Priority (Low, Medium or High) and a Status. New jobs start in Backlog.
Add the resources and timing
Pick a Course area and any Equipment required, set a Target Date, and enter the Estimated task time (days).
Save
Click Add Job.
A target date isn't a booking
The target date is a planning aid. It doesn't put the job on anyone's day. Use the Week Ahead Planner to schedule it.
How do I find and update jobs?
Use Search jobs... and the status and priority filters to narrow the list. Clear filters brings everything back.
Click a job to open Job details. Change anything and click Save Changes, or move it along by changing its status — for example to Planned, In Progress, Done or Cancelled. Delete asks you to confirm before the job is removed.
Save time
When you're ready to schedule, click Plan your week at the top. It takes you straight to the Week Ahead Planner.
