Machinery Report
See fleet health, breakdowns, repair costs, per-machine running costs and downtime, and which ageing machines cost most to keep
On this page
The Machinery report shows how your fleet is holding up — which machines are healthy, what broke, what it cost and how much time you lost.

Reports are part of TurfWise Premium.
What do the headline figures mean?
- Fleet size — active machines
- Machines down — machines whose status isn't active or operational right now
- Maintenance spend — the cost of servicing and repairs recorded in the period
- Total downtime — hours of downtime logged against machines
- Machine hours — hours machines were used on completed jobs in the period
How does Fleet health work?
Every machine gets a card with a health score and a band — EXCELLENT, GOOD, FAIR, POOR or CRITICAL — sorted worst first. A machine that's out of action also shows its status in red.
Health always looks at the last 90 days of faults and maintenance, whatever dates you pick, so the scores stay consistent from one report to the next.
What's on the rest of the page?
- Breakdowns & faults — faults reported in the period, with Severity, Status, when reported and resolved, and Resolution (days)
- Repair costs by month — spend split into Routine, Repair and Emergency
- Per-machine performance — Hours, Maintenance, Fuel, Total, Downtime and Health for each machine. Click a machine for more detail.
- Aging analysis — each machine's Age (years) against its Total repair cost and health
Fuel is an estimate
Fuel uses the fuel cost logged on a job where there is one. Otherwise it's worked out from the hours, the machine's fuel use per hour and your fuel price — so set those on each machine for a better figure.
Save time
Building a replace-or-repair case? Export PDF or Export Excel in Report controls gives you the figures for your chosen dates. Only managers and admins can export.
Why is a section missing?
Sections only appear when there's something to show. No faults in the period means no Breakdowns & faults table. Faults come from the mobile app and pre-use checks, and costs from service records — see Machinery faults.
