See this year's sick and unauthorised absences across the team, the working days lost and who has been off
On this page
The Sickness tab on Attendance & Leave gives you this year's sickness picture for the whole team — how often people have been off sick, and how many working days it has cost.

Attendance & Leave, including Sickness, is part of Premium.
Why can't I see the Sickness tab?
It's only shown to people whose role can read team performance records, usually managers and admins. Crew don't see it, because it shows everyone's sickness.
What do the four figures mean?
All four cover absences that start in the current calendar year (January to December).
- Sick absences — how many sick-leave bookings there have been
- Days lost — working days lost to sickness and unauthorised absence together. Only Monday to Friday is counted, so a sick week is 5 days.
- Staff affected — how many different people have had a sick or unauthorised absence
- Unauthorised — how many absences were booked as Unauthorised Absence
Annual leave, training, TOIL and other kinds of leave aren't included here.
What's in Sickness by person?
A table of everyone who has been off sick this year, with the most days at the top. Episodes is how many separate sick absences they've had, and Days is the total.
Click a name to open their profile on the Attendance & leave tab, where each sick absence is listed with its dates.
Look for patterns, not just totals
Several short episodes can tell you more than one long one. If someone keeps appearing, have a quiet word and note it — see HR and Compliance for the Note a conversation option.
How does sickness get recorded?
Sickness comes from the absences your team books. A manager can click Add absence and choose Sick Leave (and tick Doctor's note provided if there is one), or a crew member can report it from the mobile app. Unauthorised absence is booked the same way, using Unauthorised Absence. See Absences and leave.
