Shed board
Put today's plan, who's in, the weather, the spray window and the course pulse on the shed TV — read-only, full screen and refreshing itself all day
The shed board is today's plan on the wall: the same day the Planner shows, read-only and full screen, so the crew can see it without anyone logging in.
What's on it?
Today's plan fills most of the screen, one card per person with their jobs in time order. Each job shows its time window (or Anytime) and area; a job that's started is highlighted, a finished one is struck through, and a card with nothing on it says No jobs assigned. Someone on leave shows as Away. The heading counts 4/11 done.
Down the right-hand side:
- Today's note — the Note for the crew from the Planner, when there is one
- Who's in — how many are In and Off, with the clock-in time on each person's card
- a conditions strip: the temperature now (from your station or the forecast), today's range, wind and rain
- Spray window — today's verdict and the next window, with tomorrow's outlook
- Course pulse — growth potential, seven-day GDD, surface drying and the disease headline
The plan, attendance and note refresh every minute; weather and the spray verdict every five. The header shows the date, the time and when the board was last Updated. If a refresh fails, the last good figures stay on screen marked Not refreshing, so a stale board never passes for a live one.
Only what the sign-in can see
Every panel comes from the same records as the desktop, with the same permissions and plan. On Core, Who's in is left off (attendance is Premium); a sign-in without permission to see the plan gets a message asking for a manager.
If more people have jobs than fit on one screen, the plan turns a page every 15 seconds.
How do I get it on the shed TV?
Open turfwise.co.uk/board in the TV's browser. With nobody signed in, the screen shows Pair this screen and a six-character code.
Sign in on your phone or laptop
As a manager, as normal. Click your initial at the right of the top bar, then Settings, to open the Settings window.
Open Settings › Club & course › Shed displays and choose Pair a screen
Type the Code on the screen, give the screen a Name such as "Shed TV", and click Pair.
Wait a few seconds
The TV signs itself in and switches to the board. Nobody needs to touch it.
Paired screens are listed under Signed-in screens on the same page, each with a Sign out button — use it if a screen is replaced or goes missing. A code that expires simply rolls to a new one.
Browser full screen
Once the board is up, press the browser's full-screen key (F11 on most TV browsers and laptops) so the address bar goes away. The board is sized for the screen, so there's nothing to scroll.
Can I open it on my own machine?
Yes. The Shed board button on the Planner opens it in a new tab as you, so you can leave it up on a second screen while you keep planning.
