Weekly Outlook

Read the week ahead for your course — top disease risk, rain, growth and the best work window — and turn it into planned work

On this page

The Weekly Outlook tells you what the next seven days are likely to throw at your course, and what to do about it.

You'll find it in Course › Turf & growth › Weekly Outlook. It needs Premium.

What does the green card tell me?

The card at the top answers What's the week going to throw at us? in a short paragraph, then four figures:

  • Top disease risk — the highest modelled disease risk this week and when it peaks. It says seen on the course if a sighting has been logged.
  • Rain this week — the range your forecasts give, and the days most of them call wet.
  • Growth, week average — the same growth figure as the Growth page, with a note on whether recovery is on.
  • Best work window — the best day for disruptive work such as coring or seeding, and why.

Plan … work opens the planner on that best day. Print for the crew room prints a clean copy.

How sure is it?

The How sure row shows what the outlook was built from: the forecast, whether your course location is set, whether a weather station is linked, and whether there's a recent moisture probe reading. If something is missing, a link takes you to fix it, such as Set it or Log a reading.

What's underneath?

Do this first

Up to three numbered jobs, each with the reason behind it.

The week, day by day

One grid with weather, disease and work on the same days. Grey columns are days already recorded.

  • Weather — high and low, rain (with how many forecasts say wet), hours the leaves stay wet, soil temperature and growth.
  • Disease pressure — each modelled disease, day by day. Diseases that stay Low all week fold away; click to show them.
  • When to do the work — which days suit each kind of work, with a button to plan it.
  • Already planned for these days — jobs on the planner, with a Clash tag where the weather doesn't suit them.

Rain card, area cards and detail

The rain card shows the spread between forecasts, with every forecast in a fold. Area cards give a short read for each type of surface with one action. Nutrition, Water & wetting agents, Pests & seedlings and Charts fold open at the bottom.

Where the numbers come from

Everything is worked out from your own course: the forecast, your weather history, tasks on the planner, disease sightings and moisture readings. Click Refresh after logging something new.

Save time

Use Plan … work or the plan buttons in the grid. They open the planner on the right day, so you don't have to find the date yourself.
