What Home shows — your day at a glance and a card for every part of TurfWise with its live status — and how to choose to land on Home, Today or the Planner

Home is the front door: a greeting, a search box, your day in one line and a card for every part of TurfWise with a word on how it's getting on.
Click the TurfWise logo at the top left of any page to get there. New clubs land on Home after signing in until the basics are set up; after that, Today.
What's on the page?
Welcome back
Your first name, your club's name and, if you look after more than one club, the club switcher.
Find a tool, machine, person or record
The search box opens the same search as ⌘ K (or Ctrl K) anywhere in TurfWise. Type a page name, a machine, a person or a record.
Your day at a glance
A one-line preview of Today: how many jobs are planned and, when there is one, the 48-hour disease headline. Open Today takes you to the full page.
If your club's initial setup isn't finished, a line above it says so — Finish your club's initial setup → for an admin, or a note that your manager is finishing it.
Explore TurfWise
One card per part of TurfWise you're allowed to use, such as the Planner, Chat, Course, Staff, Machinery, Finance, Irrigation, H & S, Projects, the Library and Reports. Clicking a card opens that page; the same pages sit inside the places in the top bar (for example Staff and Machinery under Team & kit). Each card carries a live status line:
- a count of what's there, such as 14 staff members or No open jobs
- Set up with a nudge, such as Add your machines or Start your safety records, when nothing has been added yet
- an attention note, such as 2 faults open or 3 products below minimum stock
- Premium with a lock, when the part isn't in your plan
The statuses refresh every minute; Refresh fetches them now.
Cards you can't see
Cards only appear for the parts your role can open. If a greenkeeper's Home has four cards and yours has twelve, that's permissions, not a fault.
Can I start somewhere else?
Yes. Start page settings at the foot of Home (also under Settings) offers:
- Automatic — Home until colleagues, machinery and work have been added; Today afterwards
- Home
- Today — your daily overview
- Planner — straight to organising work (the Planner under Work)
A link to a specific page still takes you to that page.
Managers usually want Today
Once the club is running, Today answers "what's happening?" faster than Home does. Keep Home for the days you want the overview of every part.
