Agronomic Data Report

See the course's weather, rainfall, growing degree days, closures, spray applications, green speeds and clipping yields for any period

On this page

The Agronomic Data report pulls the course's conditions for a period onto one page — the weather, growth, closures and the work that went down on the turf.

Where do the numbers come from?

Everything here is read from records TurfWise already holds for the dates you pick in Report controls: your weather and rainfall history, growing degree days, course closure decisions, spray records, green speed readings and clipping yields. Nothing extra needs entering for the report itself. A section that has no records for the period simply doesn't appear.

What do the headline figures mean?

  • Avg temperature — the average for the period
  • Total rainfall — in millimetres
  • Course closures — how many closure decisions were recorded. It turns red when there are any.
  • GDD accumulated — growing degree days added up across the period, worked out at a base of 6°C

With a comparison turned on, each figure shows how it moved against the earlier period.

What's on the rest of the page?

  • Weather summary — temperature and rainfall over the period
  • GDD accumulation — how growing degree days built up day by day
  • Course closures — each decision with its Date, Decision, Index, Scope (which areas) and Notes
  • Spray applications — Date, Products, Areas, Operator, Type and Cost for each spray
  • Spray applications by type — the mix of spray types in the period
  • Green speed — your readings in feet over time, with your target line if you've set one
  • Clipping yield — clippings recorded over time, measured in empties

If there are no green speed or clipping readings in the period, the page tells you where to add them: Course › Greens Speed or Course › Clipping Yield.

Compare seasons fairly

Turf conditions are seasonal, so vs same period last year is usually the most useful comparison here.
