Events Prep
Plan the run-up to tournaments and events, track how ready you are, and keep what worked for next time
Events Prep helps you plan the run-up to a tournament or event, see how ready the course is, and capture what worked for next time.
Click Work in the top bar, then Prepare › Events Prep. It needs Premium.
What's on the events list?
Every event you've set up, with its dates, its stage and a readiness score out of 100:
- Ready — 80 or more
- On track — 60 to 79
- At risk — 40 to 59
- Behind — under 40
- Not scored — no readiness worked out yet
The stage tells you where the event is: Draft, Planning, Final week, Recovery, Closed or Cancelled. Use All statuses to filter by stage.
A padlock means the final-week lock is on. From three days out, any change needs a reason, which is kept in the audit log.
The links under the heading take you to Events, New event, Templates and Library.
How do I set up an event?
Click New event
Click New event (or Create event if the list is empty).
Pick a template
Choose a Template if you have one, or No template to start blank.
Fill in the essentials
Enter the Event name, start and end dates and times, and the first and last tee times if you know them.
Say how important it is
Under How important is this event?, choose from routine play up to a championship or showcase, and pick a Presentation preset.
Add last year's notes
Use Notes from last year for what worked, what didn't and what to watch for. Then click Create event.
You can refine the setup and add prep tasks from the event page once it's created.
What's inside an event?
Each event has its own tabs: Overview, Countdown, Setup, Run sheet, Debrief, Documents and Audit. The header shows the readiness score, with buttons to recompute it and download the briefing pack.
Save time
Set up a Template for events you run every year. Each new event then starts with its defaults filled in. The Library holds a bank of prep ideas — clone a TurfWise one into your club library to edit it.
