Terms of service

1. The agreement

TurfWise is supplied only to clubs and other organisations for use by their authorised staff. We do not offer personal, consumer or family subscriptions. By using TurfWise you agree to these terms. By creating an account, you confirm that you are authorised to set up the service and agree to these terms on your organisation’s behalf. Staff accounts provide access to that organisation’s workspace.

We may change these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.

2. Plans and pricing

There are two plans, both covering one course:

Core — £0 forever

One course, up to 6 people with a login, and the latest 90 days of history visible. No card required.

Premium — £590/year, or £59/month

One course, unlimited people with a login, full history, and every production-ready TurfWise capability.

Premium is billed in advance, annually or monthly, through Stripe. Prices are in pounds sterling. Staff records that do not have a login do not count towards the Core limit. Current pricing is always on the pricing page.

3. The free plan

Coreis free indefinitely, not a trial. There is no countdown, no card on file, and it does not stop working if you never upgrade. We may change what the free plan includes for new accounts, but we will not switch off an existing club’s access to its own daily operation without telling you first.

4. Your data

Your course records are yours. Using TurfWise does not transfer ownership of them to us, and we do not use one club’s records to serve another.

You can export at any time — reports to PDF or Excel, and an administrator can download a backup of your records from Settings. The 90-day window on Core limits what is displayed, not what is kept: older records are retained and become visible again if you move to Premium. How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Share login credentials, or let people outside your organisation use your account.
• Attempt to access another club’s data, or to circumvent the separation between clubs.
• Copy, decompile or reverse-engineer the software, or resell access to it.
• Upload unlawful content, or anything you do not have the right to hold.
• Use the service in a way that degrades it for others, including automated bulk access.
• Open or use an account if you are, or act for, a business that provides or is developing software that competes with TurfWise, or use the service to build, benchmark or copy a competing product.

We may suspend or close an account that is being used this way, and will tell you why.

6. Availability

We work to keep TurfWise available and will give notice of planned maintenance where we can. We do not currently offer a contractual uptime guarantee. The mobile app keeps working offline for the field work it supports, and syncs when a signal returns.

7. Cancelling

You can cancel Premium from Settings, or by emailing us. Cancelling stops future billing; the subscription runs to the end of the period already paid for, and the club then continues on Core rather than losing access. Export your records first if you want a copy outside TurfWise.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The materials and services on TurfWise are provided on an “as is” basis. TurfWise makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

In no event shall TurfWise or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on TurfWise.

TurfWise supports professional judgement; it does not replace it. Agronomic, safety and compliance decisions remain yours.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
